All the tutorials i've read on how to RGH never mention this cable , XECUTER XILINX LPT UPDATE CABLE, and i was wondering if you need this cable to RGH, and if you do what is it used for and how do you hook it up?

You need this cable for programming Coolrunner with the right timing file

i thought all you had to do was hook up the nand x to pc and nand x to coolrunner, then use the cmd commands with nandpro to program coolrunner?

But is you have a Nand X v3 already, then you only need to purchase the Nand X to coolrunner Programming cable, which is cheaper.

It is basically for people who have their own homemade Nand Readers, etc and still want to program the coolrunner.

Yes, that is true, if your Nand X is a V3 and you have the correct cable from Nand X to coolrunner

Hello everybody, I´m searching for a tutorial, where is explained how to build the nand-x update cable itself.

If you know where I can find such a tutorial, they let me know.
