First than all, thanks for anyone that could help me with this problem...

I flashed my X2.6ce with the x2_5035_v16plus_512k bios in bank 1, when I boot from it it apears a msg saying "XECUTER2 CONFIG LIVE LOADING...." and stays like that forever + frags red/green (sorry, I know you are in shock when you see the red/green frag question over and over again, but here is the thing)..., when I boot with bank 2, I have the flashbios 3.0.3 on the screen, so I don´t think that could be a solder problem, I have a 1.6 xbox version so is the right bios, I can try with the programer, but any ideas what I'm doing wrong, or what is wrong in the picture?

I´ve done that, I have the programer and might try to do it later, I was just wondering what could be the problem, if even with the programer won´t work, I´ll try http... it boots ok in bank 2 with flashbios 3.0.3, I´ve always used the programer, I just installed an X3 and everything was fine using flashbios for the first time, so I tryed to use it with an X2.6ce but didn´t work... I think that my problem is that I don´t know exactly how to patch the x2config file in the bios dvd I create, I saw xecuter saying I have to if I want to flash using a dvd... and yeah, is the right version 1.6, lol... I could try the other bios, like 5032, but why?, why is that I´m doing wrong with 5035bios?

Curious, does FlashBIOS properly detect your HDD/DVD? Does the box boot with the chip disabled? Did you do any other mods at this time, like replace the HDD? Thinking maybe something isn't properly connected on reassembly, or that there simply is no dash if you replaced the HDD.

FYI, x2config.ini isn't something you patch "into" the BIOS. You just need to drop this file on the root of the Xbox E or F drive. The purpose of the "config live loading" screen is to allow the IDE controller and HDD to initialize to a point where the BIOS can access this file on the disk. I would recommend X2 Config Maker for editing this file, it is available at www.x-projects.org. The only changes that would be made to the BIOS are if you need to change the LBA48 setting. If this is a new install (or if the HDD hasn't been upgraded before) you shouldn't need to touch this.

Problem kinda solved,:

DJBOOBY what you told me to do was the first thing I did like the manuals said, how it didn´t work like that that´s why I was trying another options.

Big Whooping, you were right about the hdd and the premoded thing, first the hdd wasn´t recognized by flashbios, I had a hdd pre moded and loaded with evox with another box, It was brand new so I never thought that could be the problem plus I did checked it with the original hdd and still was the same, well, ended up using another brand new hdd and finally it recognized it but still couldn´t boot it after flashing it, so I realized that the hdd has to have the .ini file in it in order for it to boot it, so I flashed with the programer falshbios 3.0.3 in bank 1 and with another bios bank 2, booted from bank 2 and formated+loaded all the apps with slayer (wich I always use, cuz seems to be the easiest way), then ftp the .ini file to e:/ and flash "bios x2_5035_v16plus_512k" in bank 1 with flashbios, and finally booted ok...

Thanks for your help guys and if you have any comments or suggestions, please post them here or ps me.

I was very familiar with x3, which doesn't care about your harddrive, and had this same problem on my first x2.6CE.

The 2.6 CE requires a formatted hard drive. You can NOT put in a fresh harddrive with the mod, and expect the chip to boot properly after flashing.

However, after flashing, you CAN put in a boot auto-installer, such as slayers, or AID, and format the drive/load applications/dashboards and everything will be roses.

The 2.6CE is a sweet chip (and CHEAP) once you figure out these little catches.

Yeah, that´s what I´ve been doing all the time, flasing with the programmer and using an auto-installer (Slayer, that I´ve found very usefull). The thing is that if I flash it using the flash bios/dvd, mabe I can use the auto-installer after it, but thén, I still will recieve the same msg. "XECUTER2 CONFIG LIVE LOADING...." because the .ini file isn't yet in the hdd, so I'll have to conect it to my computer to send it.

I've been using another bios that a friend once send me, don´t know wich version it is but has been working really good. I've just find this new bios a litte more complicated to flash and install, wich I thought would be the oposite, or actually I was specting to be as good and easy as the install I made with my X3 + The bios menu that you can modify it in the same Xbox without having to use any other program on the computer.

Anyway, thanks again to everybody who gave his opinion and/or knowledge in here.
