hi in new here and i wante3d to ask about the executer3, i was gonna buy it as soon as i get my xbox but one part confused me on the installation guide, the part where i hook up the alternate 5v wire to, and where it connects to, im a lil confused and lost, if anybody could help that could ne nice, thanks

Well, it's rather simple, actually a very easy solder as well beacuse of the size of the connections. If you are using the guide found here: http://www.teamxecuter.com/x3/tutorials/x3pin16.htm
Then just scroll down to where it shows the alt 5v. The top two pictures are of the X3, the bottom picture is of the alt 5v point. All you have to do is simply solder the wire to the point shown as the alt 5v point, then plug into the X3. Very easy. Now, if you don't have the 1.6 mobo (though judging from your subject title you do), then that is when you would put the little piece of insulation on there, becuase you wouldn't need an alt 5v for pre 1.6.
Hope that helps, and hope I didn't get anything wrong. I haven't actually gotten and installed my X3 yet, so I am just explaining from what I have gathered

oh... it connects to the x3, but where?, does it connect to alt 5v pin? or do i connect it somewhere else, and how come it doesnt show on the install guide, and if there anything else i should know about installing the x3

JTAG - cant connect with my Hitachi drive.
I need help connecting my jtagable xbox 360 with a hitachi drive to my pc to either replace the firmware or do a full on jtag. (yes the f/w version has not been updated it will work)
I have a via card and easily did my benq and samsung drives. But I cant get my pc to see the hitachi drive using jungle flasher.
Do i need a connectivity kit? such as the Xecuter CK3?
Also if I want to jtag do I still need a CK3 if I get the Nand kit?
