my box will not play anything that is under a year old...Should i get a new bios?the games that dont work on mine work on my friends...what is this all about.

Ok what chip have you got and are you runing a new bios and have you changed your type of dvd,s

i have the xecuter 3cefor v1.6 i believe i am running 3.0.3 yes i have changed my dvd type.

when i say bios i don,t mean your backup are you runing some thing like X3 bios or evox bios 3.0.3 is your backup bios that flashs the bios to your chip

Get X3_3294_v16plus.bin and flash it, that is if you're really sure you have a v1.6 but i doubt it since you can access flashbios 3.03 (I think that this is what you're getting not evox 3.0.3) you probably have a v1.6b. Well, just to make sure, check your xbox version first on the link below before flashing...

When you bootup xbox you should have "rox my box" or "m8 evo" on startup screen

i think, i may have flashed the wrong bios....it says Just evox in a guitar pick like shaape in the upper left corner

Ok you have M8 bios try and get your hands on X3 3294_v1.6plus bios thats the best bios for the X3 runing the M8 like having a nun on a date no aution
the X3 you get the lot but once you find it flashed it do not set password it has a bug in it. other then that works great
