Hiya! ^o^
I am having a lil trouble trying to get Xell to run on my console. It's a Xenon, with dashboard 7357, with CB 1902. I've been able to extract the nand fine, but whenever I install Xell and try to boot up, I get the E79 error. I have tried installing it with the jtag on all the resistor settings, but still no joy. I have flashed the original nand back on and the console boots up fine. Gone back over all the solder points and they seem to be fine. I would include pics, but they come out too dark to see anything... >.<
I have read somewhere that updating to 7371 before flashing with freeboot is a good idea, but does that make any difference with Xell? I would like to avoid doing that anyway, incase my CB gets updated to a point where it's not exploitable... :-( I've been messing around with it for about an hour now! lol
Any help is appreciated! ^o^
Thanks! ^o^
I've sorted it out now... >.< Found a point which hadn't actually made on the xenon jtag qsb! >.< somehow, I managed to miss that, then when trying to sort it out, managed to burn the damn contact off the qsb... >.< But I managed to rescue it, by soldering a short length of cable from the qsb to the mobo and all is good! ^o^ booted up Xell, flashed with freeboot and I'm done! ^o^
