On 3 different consoles i jtagged yesterday, both Xell(2 Zephys), and Xellous(Xenon) were grey, and very grainy, and nearly unreadable! Why could this be? I used 2 different TV's, and 3 sets on a/v cables. I am using Coolshrimps Jtag tool v3.0, Boxxdr's transistor method(zephyrs), 2 diodes(Xenon), Nand-x, pin headers, on a Toshiba laptop running Vista. Freeboot works perfect, audio and video is flawless, both on A/V and HDMI.
if you need more more info, let me know!

I'd say that output region of the console you're using is different than that of the TVs. That's why the output picture is colourless ie. PAL & NTSC difference. But the question still remains that how come freeboot works fine while Xell doesn't...

Woe, you can tell the difference between the e and c, 6 and 8? You are right though, I got what I needed. I just don't know why. These 3 I did with my laptop, while I used my desktop with no issues before.

ya even with taking a pic i had issues identifying characters how ever on the TV screen they are readable so any questionable characters i just ran xell again to make sure, once you look a little closer and learn to read the screen like that you can learn to tell the difference in the characters also

And that's exactly what I did lol. I just ran it a few times to be sure. I just wonder why it is this way, I thought maybe I missed something, did something wrong...
Like you guys said tho, I got what I needed, and that's all that matters in the end.
Thanx everyone.
