Xell - RGH1.2 Problems.

Actually the coolrunner is not relevant, at this point in the install, as he is asking for help with presumably a nand-x / jr-programmer, which are also TX products. That is like saying we wont help you with a JTAG, because you didnt buy our QSB kit. Reality is, no one ever says that to someone with the same problem that didnt buy the jtag QSB kit. On top of that, on that logic, this forum should be dead, as you can no longer get non clone chips of the coolrunner. Which leave the CR4, and I havnt seen alot of them floating around out there lately either. Most chip manufactures have stopped producing product, their support sites have gone down, and our policy is dont help them, as they didnt buy the proper equipment, as they cant seem to get it anymore. lol. That is laughable. I seriously doubt that the only chips you guys install are TX chips. And if you do, you must have a backlog of them sitting on a shelf, just in case you cant get a console to glitch. lol.

You're right, none of the installers here use TX chips any more, but they're all to keen to say no to supporting someone who doesn't have one.

Truth be told, unless it's a direct clone of a TX chip I don't care, there's little option elsewhere for things to use, but by the same sentiment....

If you aren't prepared to help people with 'other' chips on this forum, should you really be earning a living off of the back of the same chips on the same forum?
Maybe I should get all pissy and delete install threads that don't conform either??

Xell RGH 1.2 Jasper 16MB glitching issues!!!

Hello there guys I have been busting my balls on the Jasper 16MB console for a while now, I have installed a Coolrunner Rev C with the RGH 1.2 wiring i have double checked all of m solder points and I even have a USB Microscope to help out. for some reason when i program the CR Rev C with the timing files (i have tried pretty much all of them starting with 19-39) it will only glitch a few times and then the light stops blinking unless i switch it over it over to slim on the coolrunner. any suggestions would be awesome and i have pics of all my connections, sorry for the pics of the wire routing i used my microscope and prolly shouldnt have lol
