I just made a 14699 image and added updflash.bin to my usb and is stuck on:
"* trying to make sence of uda, let's assume it's fat"

I don't have another, but shouldn't it work if it detected it in the first place?Try a different USB stick not all are compatible buddy
No i'm actually doing the old jtag method - but btw, my image creation log said this:its RGH your doing i assume so make sure you do this below ....
copy the file "nandflash.bin" with "xenon.elf" (Rawflash v3)
from the folder "...\Data" to root of the USB drive then boot
into Xell-Reloaded (using Eject) with the USB drive inserted.
There is no dash, all it does is go into xell...Just to be sure: you're trieing to flash your xbox with the new bin right?
Or are you trieing to update dash with official xbox update (if so, you shouldn't use Xell just launch original dash)
Sorry couldn't quite understand that. When it starts up in Xell it has this large Free60 logo in the middle then it shows other info and fuse sets, etc.Is it not nandflash.bin for xell and flashupd.bin for xellous on older versions.
Maybe I messed up the nand but I made two dumps so could you link me to a freeboot with an appropriate image. Just to let you know this consoles MFR is oct 2006 and the retail dash is like 4302 or something lolok normal Jtag make sure the nand is not corrupt or you didn't mix up nands then put it on a clean formatted usb stick, plug the power out of the back of your console wait 30sec plug in the usb plug in the power and press eject if that don't work you have a nand or usb issue.
his talking about your update nand so for normal Jtag it will be updflash.bin for RGH it will be nandflash.bin but yes make sure you mixed nothing up if so make your update again i have a question for you can you boot into Xexmenu ?
it worked now guys, it wouldn't accept updflash.bin, only nandflash.binDoes free60 xell even allow you to reflash the nand? The older versions used to have to be updated to xellous to allow you to reflash the nand. The newer versions fixed this but which version have you got? Does it say looking for 'updflash.bin' on usb media on your version?
Well no it just wouldn't take updflash as a namenp so your nand was corrupt then...
