Xell/Xellous Won't Boot

OK so I installed NAND-X on a Xenon using the direct wire method. I was able to read the NAND multiple times, and I went ahead and flashed Xell to get CPU key. Then when I went to flash freeBOOT I got "could not detect a flash controller." I found out that you can flash by renaming to updflash.bin, putting it on the root of a USB drive, and booting Xell. THEN I found out that only works with Xellous, not Xell. I tried to update to Xellous by renaming xell-2f.bin to updxell.bin. I put that on a USB drive, booted Xell, and it said update successful. However, now when I turn on my 360 I get a black screen. I've tried eject button, power button, and wired controller plugged into back USB port. Nothing works. The problem is I can't reflash because I'm getting that flash controller error. I tried resoldering, each time checking continuity with a multimeter. NAND-X still won't work. What the crap do I do?

EDIT: OK I think I may have ruined the solder pads now (the NAND dump ones.) If so, what do I do? If I can't get this working, I just wasted $140...

Something's messed up. On that post there are no pictures under the J1D2 or J2B1 headings?

EDIT: Nevermind the pics are working now, but I don't really understand them. Do I have one wire going from each original point to the alternate point, then the wire from the NAND-X connector going to the original point? Or do I just solder wires directly to the alt points? By the way, I read that Xell installs two versions: the normal one and the backup. The backup is supposed to never get overwritten, and you can boot it by turning console on with wired controller in back USB port. I tried to install Xellous over the normal Xell, but why can't I still load the backup?

It would be easier to have a wire going from the original point to the alternative point. Then connecting the nand-x wiring as normal. The alternative points though are not for noobs at soldering so if your unsure about doing it yourself I wouldnt do it. Im not sure about the xell backup or how it works so cannot advise you about it. I got the black screen the first time I treid to update to xellous usng xell, I fixed mine though by re-flashing with my nand-x and then I used flash360 to update instead. Hopefully you dont have "one of those" consoles that only allows you to read/write to the nand a couple times and then constantly give the could not detect controller error.
