OK so I installed NAND-X on a Xenon using the direct wire method. I was able to read the NAND multiple times, and I went ahead and flashed Xell to get CPU key. Then when I went to flash freeBOOT I got "could not detect a flash controller." I found out that you can flash by renaming to updflash.bin, putting it on the root of a USB drive, and booting Xell. THEN I found out that only works with Xellous, not Xell. I tried to update to Xellous by renaming xell-2f.bin to updxell.bin. I put that on a USB drive, booted Xell, and it said update successful. However, now when I turn on my 360 I get a black screen. I've tried eject button, power button, and wired controller plugged into back USB port. Nothing works. The problem is I can't reflash because I'm getting that flash controller error. I tried resoldering, each time checking continuity with a multimeter. NAND-X still won't work. What the crap do I do?
EDIT: OK I think I may have ruined the solder pads now (the NAND dump ones.) If so, what do I do? If I can't get this working, I just wasted $140...
