is it me or is the XENIUM days of chrismas $hit wasting space?
Why do we have to see this crap on xbox-scene. It should be stuff that should be ONLY posted on their site, for their customers. Its just wasting space on the web as far as i'm concerned.

If it was xecuter i would say the same thing.... but in the past i've seen xecture add a note in their post to NOT POST ON XBOX-SCENE.... because xectuer only wanted to post for their customers....

xenum should learn from that..... that's the little differance that make good companies from bad ones.

These guys spend more time thinking of something to say to make the news than they do creating something news worthy!
Well said... I suggest this topic should just fade into the backround as it is wasted space because of the topic.

FWIW - Besides the wonderful features they are delivering, they got their promotion COMPLETELY WRONG.

Here we are, 2 days before Xmas, and they are curently advertising day 5. Most people are probably saying "how are they going to cram 7 more days inbetween now and Christmas?". Which got me wondering, what IS the correct time period for the 12 days of xmas?

Scrounging the intarweb, I came across a load of crap about the urban myth detailsing the connection between the song and outlawed Catholic worship in England, but sometimes, yo do find your answer ...
"The twelve days of Christmas are not the twelve days before Christmas, but are instead the twelve days from Christmas until the beginning of Epiphany (January 6th; the 12 days count from December 25 until January 5), which is when the three Wise Men or Magi arrived on the scene."

So have Xodus prematurely released their promotion? Are they trying to complete it before Xmas, or did they realise they needed extra time and started the promotion early?

yes death to xenium, they could be making new products, like touching up the led bar or whatever the hell that thing is called... but yet rather they spend time writing xmas stuff, then doing something productive
its a waste of time, our time (to some people who read it NOT ME)
now someone delete this thread lol or lock

Powering from the Xbox

Is there a way to flash the Xbox without a powering kit?

I read through that sticky but I'm still unsure of the answer.

I don't plan on connecting to Live, so will I still be able to flash without any errors (baring in mind I have quite a recent xbox update)?

Re: Powering from the Xbox

dependant on the drive and fw on it! - but yes you can power the drive using the xbox. connect kit makes things easier (especially if you need to probe it to get key)

I have a Hitachi 57.

A problem I'm experiencing is that the Xbox's drive isn't appearing in my bios so I'm unable to get into B-mode.

I have the correct motherboard chipset for it.
