Xenon 360 JTAG Points Ruined?

I have got hold of a xenon 360 that can be jtag'd of one off my friends, he has tried to do it himself but to no avail, so he asked if i would take a look.

The nand can be dumped with no errors and is jtagable but the points where the jtag must be soldered are a bit of a mess, i tried the diodes method as i did on my console but all i get is e79 error, so i brought a e79 fix kit but still gives me the same error.

If the original nand is put back on it boots up as normal but as soon as i write xell it gives the e79 error.

I tried installing the diodes etc on the underside of the motherboard but have had no luck,

i have posted some pictures of the jtag area on the top and bottom of the motherboard (the best i can do) but just wanted to know if this could be fixed by someone with alot more of an idea.

The J2D2 points are sure messed up, you can try these alternate J2D2 points (by xmods) but if who ever managed to ruin these J2D2 points will sure mess the alternate ones as they are smaller.

Also did the original NAND dump contain any bad blocks?

no bad blocks at all, not too bad at soldering myself managed to jtag my own console without hickups.

on second thoughts after looking at alternatve places i think i will give it a miss.

What would someone normally charge for this to be done am in the midlands( u.k.)

Sorry for the delay and thanks for the reply,
I have redone the j2d2 part of the jtag from the pics but the j1f1 area is messed up, cannot get a good solder point on any of the points on top or underneath ,are there any alternative points for these, i cannot see any on page. thanks

Right then, I repaired the traces to the Jtag points following the diagrams(cheers)and all went well , the j1f1 part i soldered to the traces underneath and went well(cheers again) put the Heatsink back in place booted xell first time got my CPU key (bonus) used jtag tool and wrote the software back to nand and guess what, E74 , every time i turn on i get F*****G E74 , Xell works fine.
Even put some Arctic Silver back on and used the towl method to heat it up but nothing. worked fine untill i took off the heatsink to repair the traces.going to try a heatgun on the back tomorrow, but that sums up my luck with jtaging my mate even said i could have the console., bugger

I wouldn't recommend a heat gun and epically with E74, even if it worked it's prone to come back quick. Send your board to modmonster for a professional re-flow.

If XELL boots up fine then it's not a problem with your GPU.

Its a problem with the flash or JTAG wiring, May also be a southbridge problem which could be why it worked after over heating. Try holding the southbridge chip down as you boot.
