Hi all,

I have a problem with a Xenon 360 that I Jtagged a few weeks back, it was on the old jtaggable dash and hadn't been used much at all so no RROD. Basically, I have been using it maybe a few hours per week for the past month and the other day I turned it on and went to try and play a game over my network but it didn't show so I re-booted it and since then i've had this problem! Originally I used the diode method but since this issue I tried the 3 resistor method and still no joy! I've checked to see if it would boot to E79 without any diodes or resistors but I still get a blank screen and no ROL and I can open and close my drive. I've also tried to see if there was a secondary error code which is when I found something unusual, when pressing the sync button the ROL flashes going from 1,2,3,4 individually until I press the sync button again! I've also tried to boot into Xell with no luck.
The problem is this, I turn on the 360 and only get the power light in the middle of the ROL, no ROL at all like usual and no A/V on screen, I don't even get anything like RROD etc so I really don't know what the problem is! So, i'm wondering if anyone on this forum has experienced the same problem at all and maybe knows how to fix the problem? I'm willing to try anything to try and get my 360 up and running again. Also, when I do is there a better method to use than the diode or resistor method? I did read that the 3x330 ohm resistor method is best to use with my motherboard and CB revision which is 1903 but i'm open to suggestions, of course that's even if I get it back up and running again!
Any help with this matter would be appreciated, I don't usually ask for help often on any forum because I normally find out what I need to know myself but so far this issue is baffling me so I've been resigned to asking for help this time. Many thanks in advance to anyone that replies and manages to get my 360 up and running again.

Put your jtag wiring back to how it was when it was originally booting. Then post pictures of the soldering.

The fault could be down to the install, soldering, nand and other issues but since its usually soldering issues we do need pics. You never said if you tried with original nand or not.

** Martin got there before me :p **

The reason I haven't written back yet is because i'm using the old LPT port to write with and would mean me setting up a system from parts again! I was hoping that someone might have some kind of idea what it may be before trying to flash my NAND's again! As mentioned in my 1st post, I did remove my JTAG wiring to see if I got the E79 error ( I read somewhere that this should happen) and the 360 stayed the same. I know for definite it's not my soldering, 1, it's been working perfectly fine and 2, i've already de-soldered and re-soldered a few times to see if it might be that now with no luck, i've also tried new diodes with the same result! Don't get me wrong, i'm not trying to be big headed when I say my soldering isn't at fault, I know that even the best can make mistakes but I eliminated that by what i've already tried. IF nothing else comes to light then I will write my original NAND back to the 360 over the weekend when I have a little more time to rebuild a system with an LPT port. Thanks for the replies so far though, it's appreciated.
