Xenon 360 with dg-16d2s

Hi all. a friend gave me his 360 he no longer uses and is a Xenon or Zephyr not sure which one, it have the heat sink on the gpu that has the extra cooling part. well the thing is that it can play original games with the stock firmware, but if I flash it with ixtreme I get the play dvd message, if I flash it back to stock I can play original games again. all of this with the same dvd key. with ixtreme wont let me play any type of game disc, but I can play movies fine, with stock firmware I can play games and watch movies no problem. Anyone knows why is this happening?

Sorry if this was asked before but I searched in the usual places ad with this site search option but after a few hours of reading I didn't find anything to help. please advice. thanks.

This Xbox was replaced by MS to my friend and he didn't used it because he bought another while MS had his original Xbox under repair which too too long for him so he purchased the other one. anyways this Xbox still had the warranty label unbroken so nothing was mad to it, I just opened it to flash the ixtreme but doing so original games give me the pay dvd error and backups give me the unreadable game error, but it can play movies fine with ixtreme, with the stock firmware it can play movies and games no problem. so I was wondering why this happens, is very strange , I don't know if it has to do with the Xbox being a xenon/xephyr.

Yes it is on the latest firmware as I was using it online last night.

Was the drive spoofed before you got it? I just havent seen a xenon or zephyr with a liteon drive.

No tis Xbox was factory sealed ,it had the warranty seal unbroken, I was the one who broke it t flash it with ixtrem.

I have a 2008 Xenon that we got as a replacement from MS with LiteOn DG-16D2S drive and I had no problem flashing it with LT 3.0, just the same way as you flash a Jasper.

Well I don't think it's because it has a liteon drive. I've had quite a few refurbished Xenon's purchased off of eBay with liteon drives, it's perfectly normal, and also spoofed a few :)

The Iextreem firmware is so you can rip games and the lt+3.0 firmware is for playing games. if you flashed iextreme then it is no surprise it doesnt work.

Edit: just looked at your log, and you have the correct firmware.
