Hi guys, my question is as follows. I have a xenon jtag here with a fried gpu. I have 5 other xenons from which i could steal the gpu. But i also have a zephyr motherboard here. It has HDMI out. So i was thinking about putting the xenon cpu on the zephyr board.....

Now i understand.. i have to write the nand to the zephyr. But seeing zephyrs have different bootloaders..... Is it possible to do this??

CB version 1903
CD&CE 1888
CF&CG patch 0 5787
CF&CG patch 1 6690

The list of exploitable CB's:
Exploitable CB versions:
1888, 1902, 1903, 1920,1921: exploitable xenon
4558: exploitable Zephyr
5761, 5766, 5770: exploitable falcon
6712, 6723: exploitable jasper

I mean zephyr has a different CB..... Could it work???

Is there any geek here who could give me the thumbs up or thumbs down...??
I read you can just insert KV and raw config blocks into zephyr nand.

Anyways, reballing is no problem for me, i do it all the time.... so it's only the software part that matters... how do i go about the nand stuff.. And is it possible at all!

The CPU in the Zephyr should be the exact same part as the one in the Xenon. I don't think the CPU key is stored anywhere on that chip, I think that's determined by the fuses on the board and matched to the NAND.

This isnt my area of expertise at all so I'm just speculating. I'm a mad scientist so I'd experiment and try doing it as long as the unit was a spare. May be best to see what some of the resident experts think.

Edit: Wait you said CPU did you mean GPU? You said you have one with a fried GPU so assuming you meant GPU that should also be the same part and I don't believe the GPU is keyed to the system in any way.

Uhhhhh i'm not going to put a fried gpu on a good zephyr. I AM going to put the CENTRAL PROCESSING UNIT from a xenon in a zephyr. I already created a freeboot. attached lpt port. soldered jtag wires.

I don't believe i can use the old processor from that zephyr, or it will go on a xenon board.. But that one is jtagged and has a fried gpu. So if i can recover a gpu from somewhere it still has a bootloader which it won't start since it's efuses have been blown. So even if i manage to inject the KV and raw config from the zephyr into the xenon nand, it won't boot anyway.

So what remains is dumping the nand, writing xellous, then replacing the cpu with the already reballed xenon cpu. Which should all be a joke since this is all done automatically....

my freeboot zephyr nand now has CB&CD 4558
CE 1888
CF&CG patch 0 4532
CF&CG patch 1 12625

I simply hope the xenon cpu can run that bootloader.

And yeah, ofcourse i know the cpu key.

Edit:

We'll see if it works.. But i imagine i have to dump a xenon nand version 12625 to inject the zephyr KV and raw config right??? since thats the dashboard version on the zephyr... If that works i'll take it on xbox live just for the hell of it! Ahhh, if you can write the nand you can also remove the secdata flah lol....

Not going to work. You can't cross CPU. Xenon CPU will not work on Zephyr MB.
