Wanted to get some help please.

I followed this guide http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55024

I have an xenon board: exploitable cb:1888

I have soldered both, the jtag, and the nand boards to my xbox.

installed usb drivers to 32bit windows 7 laptop.

I have dumped nand 3 times. Ran them through degraded comparing all 3. NO ERRORS.

I got the file named xenon_xbr_8955_3 from xbins. put it in the nandpro folder.

I pulled rawkv and rawconfig from MY nand reads and patched it to the xbr 8955 file.

Then I write that file to my NAND.
Unhook the usb from pc.
unhook the nandx from jumper.
I unplugged power from xbox for 1 min.(clear SMC)

I plug it in and hit the eject button on the xbox and I get an E79. every time.

I have went through solder points 5 times. cant see an issue.
I write original bin back and it works fine. (all 3 dumps do)

Have I missed a step or what?? I will be hitting the bench in 2 hrs. hope someone can help.

Does the jtag portion being soldered already effect anything??

thank you for any input!!!

I'm assuming you soldered the JTAG QSB bit? Did you try the JTAG switch on all positions? A high resolution picture of your soldering and main points would help!

Also why go for XBR? Freeboot is more stable and will allow you to do more with your JTAG than XBR.

And of course you also connected the JTAG QSBd with the blue/yellow cables?
But yeah, pics, please!

so if I get freeboot I write the raw files to it and flash?

I have not tried the switch in all locations yet. I didnt because i didnt think it was used yet.

I did confirm all wiring was correct. I am going over the solder points again.

thank you guys.. i will look at freeboot now too..

ok i now have freeboot installed and verified.. thank god.

I went through all solder connections again and still got the error. I then used coolshrimp program and watched the video of carolinas and I am now working.. Now to have some fun..

I think it was a misunderstanding of how this all worked. thanks guys for the input and help.

yea probably alright then just remember before you go online make sure you have at least 5-7 hours of free time (playable time) maybe 8 or 9 if you are lucky because if you sign in and shut it off after 3 hours.......you fu#ked because when you try to sign in it will get banned
