68nf cap pll bypass
52cm cpu rst line spliced together
rest of the wires were unchanged and left full length

first successful boot was 1min flat

few attempts were made before this using varying configuration of cpu rst line and routing. will attempt a few more boots and manage to take some pictures if nessecary.. I'll update this further shortly

Congratulations, what about consequtive boots? any consistency in boot times?
Also, xecuter was interested in the ecc of another member's xenon that was glitched in about 3 minutes. Maybe he would be interested in yours too.

i tried this earlier on an xenon i had lying around and it took 24 mins to boot lol. second time i tried it didnt boot i left it for half hour, im using just normal old wire bits from other coolrunner installs. but it works as works well. Good job!

damn i just put it back as retail after getting dvdkey didnt snap any pictures at all.



consistency ? lol no not at all

2 outta 5 boots booted

1st boot : 1min
2nd boot: 20mins

i followed standard coolrunner wiring install as for any phat ran cpurst out near edge of mobo right on edge avoiding coils ect.

no problem on sharing the ecc just tell me where to point it..

I tried to RGh my Xenon ,I got CPU and DVD key but could not Boot to Final step.Still working to solve it

thanks for the post, i cant get mine to boot xell, been sitting for an hour now, green light blinking ever 5 sec. i'm going to try your setup.

I can tell its resetting because the wattage draw on my ups dorps every 5 seconds as well.

Are you using a cap on cpu_rst as well, i know you didn't mention one but i thought id ask. I'm using a 270nf on cpu_rst.

Any one know if i would have better luck going to a 220nf or removing it entirely?

Thanks, i suppose ill give that a go then. I'm still using a 47nf cap as i cannot find a 68 in my shop. ill see if i can salvage one or start off at a 100nf like the coolrunner revb's use.

I am getting no where with this so far thought, been on for 4 hours today and has not booted xell. just flashing green debug led ever 5 seconds.

Does any onek now if we can use the cpu_rst alt point on xenons?
