As the thread states......
A 47nf ( 0.047uf) capacitor needs to be added between PLL_BYPASS(+) and GND(-). (If you have a genuine TX CoolRunner REV B you can use the on-board by bridging the CAP jumper)

A 220-270pf capacitor should be added between CPU_RST(+) and GND(-) on the cpld. (If you have a genuine TX CoolRunner REV B this is already included in the design so not required)
So your answer is YES, you can modify the CoolRunner Rev A :).

well thats cool then.
i understood about the location of th 47nf but wasnt sure about the 220-270pf
and where does the other end of the double shielded wire go.
i know these questions may seem stupid to them in the know but surely its better to know what your doing before going full steam ahead.
Hope this thread help others!!!!

I understand your confusion elski2001. The "other end" of the double shielded wire is actually just feeding through a whole to get to the top side of the motherboard and connect to the Coolrunner.

Spoon feeding is bad for your health!! If you even looked at the picture its color coded. Your answer is right in front of you.

No mate, that picture is only for example and it is not for xenon, it is for phat d connection. If you have that wire, just connect it to the d connection - i.e. left pad of the cap you removed(C7R112)
