 I have read that you need to replace a resistor, but am not able to find it on the xenon board.
I have tried different power cables to the dvd, a different dvd drive, a different rf board and a different fan. I have
also looked all over the board for signs of damage, but cant see anything.
This Xbox was bought second hand with this problem and had never even been opened before. It boots straight away without a dvd drive or hdd, but add either one and it just stays on the single green light with no boot. I read the nand and jtaged it hoping
this would some how sort it out, but no its still the same.
Does anyone know which resistor is likely to be the problem, or indeed any other possibilities?
Thanks for any help:cool2:

R4B6 is the equivalent resistor on a phat HDMI board. If this is damaged, the console won't boot with DVD or HDD attached (SATA_CLK_REF).

Xenon uses ANA, so slightly different. Check R3C27 in case that's the issue. Should be 33 ohms.
