Hi all -
I picked up an Xenon XBOX 360 a few days ago for a grand price of $0. I took it home, plugged it in to the AV / Composite combination cables, and booted it up - no red ring. I get the "circling green ring" as you normally would, it detects a wired controller that i have plugged in, and the unit sits with a solid green power LED on the RF module. But here's the kicker: no video output on the AV connection, or the composite connection. No red ring codes, no secondary codes. I have tried the video reset method multiple times by pressing Y + RT during boot up. The console resets like its supposed to, but no video output is seen. The AV connector looks fine and the traces are intact. The AV connector components shown on page 43 of the Xenon schematic are also intact.
The unit is not JTAG'ed. The solder locations are prestine with no evidence that it has ever been modded. The previous owner(s) have replaced the x-clamps with the screws and washer kit. There is sufficent thermal paste. So at the very least, i'm assuming this console has been reflowed at one point or another.
Given this knowledge, what would the TX community recommend doing from here forward? I have the equipment to JTAG/RGH the unit as well as a reflow station available for my use at work.
Thank you!
