GENERAL xexmenu problem

Just did the rgh mod with a coolrunner yesterday and went fairly well. Now i am trying to get xexmenu and fsd etc to work and have been following the tutoials but where it says to copy to hdd1 I run into a problem I have the 4gig slim with an external hard drive but no where do I see hdd1 at all

You have to configure your external harddrive in stock dash first. Then xexmenu should be able to see it.

also - if it's external it will show as USB

Ok it actually did show up as usb I saw all my movie files and one labeled xbox(must be from when i used it for the stock xbox) the problem I have now is I just got back home and its not booting. weird nothing has changed all I get it the green light in the center of the power button

unplug the USB drive and try again

i actually re checked the wires and the yellow was caught under the plastic mount and it boots now. do you know a good link of how to set up this hard drive

i am just curious it says to copy to content folder i dont have one

wheres your profile?

profile will be stored on the 4GB internal MU - that's where the content folder will be.....you wont have a content folder on your USB drive

If its a SLIM with 4gb internal memory, wouldn't it be IntMu: ?

in storage devices it shows memory unit 2.5gb free and another memory unit 15.5gb free

Mine is MemUnit int (So yes) but if you see MU your in the right place I didn't want to complicate things too much

Are you scrolling through the buttons while in Xexmenu?
Take out or disconnect any external hdd's
