xgd3 and hitachi in liteon box

Got an offline console thru a hitachi in it(hitachi LT+2.0b) with the liteons key(did not spoof as liteon cuz it's got the newest dash) , it plays older games fine and originals but won't play my xgd3 burns. Any workaround for this?

Put a lite-on back in it, the Hitachi won't provide the ap2.5 data that the console is expecting. That's my best guess someone correct me if I am wrong about this.

Oh yeah, this is a 79 hitachi and I'm getting disc not supported error...I thought spoofing as a liteon was unnecessary

I think your best bet would be find a lite-on to put in it, or at least a ben-q

That's what I was thinking...so spoofing as a liteon wouldn't help right? The liteon is crap goes straight to open tray tried two different good lasers in there.

Spoofing wont help as the Hitachi still wont read the ap, your only hope is to find a lite-on or ben-q, or wait untill the new lt for Hitachi is released.
