lol - no worries.....if u are using say a sammy in a machine that is supposed to have a liteon in it, then that is spoofing.....if u have flashed it as anything other than a liteon, then that is plain wrong lol
He wont listen to you so its useless giving him further advice.

No matter what anyone says, its just laziness and don't want to have a scroll through other threads.

My own experience with GOW 3 was when I ripped with XBCreator it gave me errors ripping it. Then I burned and gave me error trying to install to the hard drive. Three times I tried burning in different speeds and none works. So I tried to rip again the game setting the read speed in XBCreator to 5x. No errors came this time. Burned again the new image and intalled perfect.

spoofing is in no way supported in the new LT+2.0 fw and will flag u and stop games from booting.....you can no longer spoof drives - u need the original drive in the machine
I dont know how but i spoof a benq as a liteon and it worked with xdg3 m8 i know that is not good and you can been banned but this console was already banned becuase it had a samsung before !

I can play Batman Arkam City original, and have backed it up with 0800 V3. Burned it using CloneCD and ImgBurn and both options give me the unsupported disc error. I am having the same problem with GOW3.

Dash is 13604. Liteon drive LT+2.0.

I tried burning both ways, truncated and overburn. No dice.

EDIT: Also, tried installing disc to HDD and got the same error. It shows the disc in the drive, and once I try to load I get the error.

This is what I am using:

Samsung ms28 - lt2.01
Memorex 8x DVD+R DL 8.5GB
Lite-On iHAS324 burnner
VIA 6421

I can't seem to find any solution to my problem. I have never had a problem burning an xbox game, until XDG3. I have tried burning at 4x and 8x (4x is the slowest my burnner will go). I have tried to truncate and overburn in ImgBurn, and I have used CloneCD. Both apps are up to date. All attempts at burning have completed successfully with no errors. The games always show up in the menu, but will constantly give me a black screen then disk unreadable error. I have tried installing the games to the HDD and clearing the cache with the same end result. Does anyone know of a possible solution?

When is test the game on a BENQ VAD6038 or liteon 0225 it works fine.
i don't even get into the game menu when it loads it just crashs and says unreadable disc

Same for me.... hate this....
Many People use MS28-Drives. Why NO 3.0FW?!

Samsungs and hitachi 59 and before CANNOT read AP2.5 data, no newer firmware is needed for these drives at the time so there will be no expected 3.0 for these drives. No need to reburn games for these drives I stated.

All my back-ups work perfectly with LT 2.01, unfortunately a bad workman often blames his tools.

It's nothing to do with the firmware 100% it's more likely to be a bad update, flash or laser.

And finally as mentioned over and over again any PHAT drive that does not have a LT 3.0 version released does not need it as it cannot do the AP25 checks LT 3.0 was designed to defeat.

I think that depending on your drive, the kprobe results sometimes need to be better than even the recommended results. I was having some disc read error problems and then I did another burn that had really good results and my problem went away.

edit: Attaching kprobe results.

CODMW3-3 (first pic) was the disc giving me occasional disc read errors.

CODMW3-4 (second pic) hasn't given me any read errors at all.

I'm referring to my Samsung drive with LT+ 2.01 installed. Both were within the parameters of what's recommended for a good disc.

You should check your laser, my sammy plays anything with a PIF spike of (5) as should any drive in decent shape, thats why the nerospeed quality check results go orange at (6).

Also the quantity of PIF errors is also very important.

I recently bought my samsung 360 used and the drive on it wouldn't even open, so I replaced the drive on it with a new one from ebay. That was just a few weeks ago.

Just letting people know what worked for me, I don't think you should discount it so quickly.
