Finally got my iHas drive to burn a XGD3 game and meet the quality testing standards. Updated my Lite-on 0272 drive to LT+3.0. I'm on a trinity with CR/Demon. So I booted into FSD and the game played fine, booted into retail and installed game to HDD. When I went to play it I got the "this disc is unsupported error". I burned the game using .DVD and .ISO. I thought the .DVD was the topology data? Everything I googled on the error referred to people on LT+2.0 with back ups with no topology data. So am I gonna be flagged server side or some thing? I can still play on live at the moment. any help is greatly appreciated.

Your probably flagged, If you know what your X value was before you would be able to see if it changed. Your probably not going to get banned for one or two fails, But then again you never know. You can try putting your X value in Xval and see if it says failed.

I didn't run it through ABGX..thought it was good to go...I think that may be the issue. My X value didn't change but read my nand and compared and it wasn't the same so I flashed back the original one. If you are flagged server side when will the actual ban come?

Did you actually connect to live on your retail?

Only MS can answer that one.

Yeah, I can get on live fine. So does this mean there are people flagged server side for a ban and play online for months and then all of a sudden BAN? Sounds very un M$ to let you get away with anything longer then t hey have to.

I just checked the disc with ABGX and it says :

First 12 sectors of topology data blank(in red)
Topology doesn't match file in database(yellow)
SS looks valid
DMI looks valid(both green)
Basic stealth check passed(green)
All stealth CRCs match(green)

Never used ABGX before does this mean my back up disc is fine or that I need to patch rip and reburn? Thanks.

if you rip it without topology,( with topology takes about 40-50 mins ) you need to run through ABGX to add the topology

You should NOT rip your own topology data. As stated in many threads, if your laser is not perfect your topology data will be slightly off. The database topology is the average of many measurements across many drives to determine the actual 'correct' values.

Thus, you should ALWAYS use ABGX to patch in the topology data.

Agreed...Always use ABGX...
if you read the thread he did neither so he is more than likely flagged for a ban as he had no topology whatsoever
