Since im pretty sure you didn't save the original nanddumps (which is a big no-no). Go ahead and hit load source and it will pop up a window and ask where to load from. click jrunner and there should be a file named your console id number
like this (0258376543). click that then click on the oldest nanddump.bin that you have (the one with the oldest date modified) then in jrunner hit the button "load extra" and do the same with the next oldest nanddump.bin.

Now compare them and if they match, select rgh2 and tick the box that says cr4. now create ecc then write ecc. let me know what happens afterwards.

basically you did read the nand 2 times then you wrote the ecc you created from those nands. But after that you read the nand twice again and both of your original nands got overwritten when you read the nand again because you were reading the ecc that you had already written to the nand. Now if you did take those original nanddumps and save them somewhere else before writing the ecc then that is good and you can use them to create an ecc, but if you left them in the working folder (output folder) and did not save them then all you can do for now is use the ecc you have to glitch the console, get your cpu-key, then we can work on making a new retail image for it.
Before anything else happens I would at least make a folder "called backup ecc" and copy the nanddumps to it for safekeeping.

I'm not sure what you mean with ' load from. click jrunner and there should be a file named your console id number like this (0258376543). ' What I did:
- Selected the oldest nanddumps and they matched (nand compare)
- Selected Glitch2 with the tickbox CR4
- Create ECC
- Write ECC
- Removed power chord for 10 seconds
- Booted Xbox

Results: no output on the TV and the CR is blinking green every 5 seconds.. Nvm after 40 seconds (was typing this reply) it booted, CR stopped blinking and I have results on the TV: Xell booted :)

Okay so what should I do next? Should I connect the xbox with the router so I can use JRunner to get the CPU Key? I already wrote it down and saved it under cpukey.txt.

Edit: I restored the nanddumps from recycle bin and I'm pretty sure they are the original ones (before I pressed any buttons or overwritting them). At least it does boot now so I think that worked out great ;)

Edit2: For the comms cable can I use the Tx and Rx headers on the NAND-X TX? Looking at pictures it is the only one required to hook up and the ground? I mean I believe it is just a FTDI cable.

you can. or you can just type it in to jrunner. First off you need to save the files in your show working folder (output folder) make a new file as I said before and name it backup ecc then got to the output folder and right click on nanddump1.bin and click copy then go paste it into your backup ecc folder then do the same with nanddump2.bin

Yes I backed the files up properly this time but where can I add the CPU Key? Adding it at CPU Key Database the program gives an exception.

cpu-key goes into the cpu-key box under load source and load extra. then when you load a nand into source it will confirm that the cpu-key is correct and it should save its self to the database.

Oeps missed that textbox.. Anyway when I add the CPU key it says it is bad I confirmed it three times and it is the same as listed on the TV.

Edit: misread a 8 for a B; works now :)..

ok load up the nanddumps that you saved before writing the ecc by hitting the load source and load extra buttons and then compare the nands and if it says header is wrong on one of the nanddumps then that is just an ecc and we will need to create a retail image unless you plan on never putting the console back to stock.

Okay did that, they were the same so this is a confirmation that they were before writing ECC? So what should I do next? Following the userguide and creating an image?

click write nand with that nand loaded into source and you will have to remove the red wire from the pad on the cr4 and boot the console to see if it boots to stock dash. Im not so sure the nands you have are retail but we will find out if it boots.

Okay did as you said. Loaded the backup nand in the source, removed the 5V wire, and booted the xbox. And it boots into stock dash just as it should :)

ok then, load that same nand into source and follow the jrunner guide from here on out. You want to select dash 17150 click rgh2 tick the box that says cr4 and change dashaunch the way you want (read jrunner) then click create xebuild image and once it has finished you hit write nand. Then boot your console and tweak your cr4 to get faster boot times, and install homebrew stuff like aurora and fsd3 which you can find at realmodscene.com
