Well, I was just looking around some websites and saw that the XLCD is 29.99 on Divino. I spent 45.00 at System-Mods! Is this the same one? I wish I would have looked around! 15.00 is a big difference!

Ok, actually the one I am talking about is 37.99. The other one is for smartxx. Well, could you use the one for "smartxx" for the X3? I wander what the difference is if any?

The 'propper' one will come with the correct connector, just plug it in, you will probably have to solder the other one in !
well divino is out of canada, so it may look like its cheaper I don't kow, I just know that there is a currency diff., but I am not saying thats it, but that is another factor to take into consideration
oh and they have lcd's from x-addons.com that have connectors for the xecuter chips, so you don't have to solder anything, don't know the price though

Liteon DVD DL
Hi,
I had a problem with one liteon drive I updated to the newest release 1.1 LT. I managed to fix it and now its working fine, at least that's what I thought....because now, the DVD Burner that I have in my computer is not working anymore. I strongly think that I may have done something wrong with JungleFlasher which changed the Burner's firmware (which is a Liteon ihas124).
What should I do now ?
The green activity light is on, but I can't eject the tray and if I use the pin hole and insert a CD manually, it is not reading it. There is not activity at all coming out of this unit except the green activity light !

Edit: Let's say I hit the eject button, my cursor will change to a "loading CD" cursor, the green light on the drive will turn on, and then 10 seconds later, nothing.
Edit: I updated my driver's firmware to make sure the firmware wasn't affected, but it's still not working....
