Thats how I did mine, no video though!
Couple of tips that I learned the hard way:
Cut inside your lines... the disc tends to melt the plastic either side of your cut, so it's a good idea to have soom room for error
Use a sanding block to finish it off - unless you have your drill and case on a jig, chances are that your cuts won't be perfectly straight. Use a sanding block afterwards to level the whole thing off (I found that when I use a sanding drum with my dremel it can't get anywhere near a smooth line. Instead I have a series of peaks and troughs)
Using a large block should help your lines stay level!
Make sure your corners are square - otherwise your LCD will not sit on the bottom of the cutout (cough>> like mine <<cough)
Cut out enough shielding to ensure that you don't short the back of your LCD
Unless you plan on sitting your LCD further back in your case than flush with the front, you won't need to cut any of your hdd casing.
