you may have flashed an older firmware to the drive, what is the file name of the .bin file you loaded as target?

as for burning games I use falcon dvd+r dl 8x discs and burn them at 8x using imgburn, I have a samsung burner don't have the exact model on hand it is their 24x model.

I'll buy some Verbatims....all I have are Memorex but I bought them when I bought the burner the other day. The burner is a HP1270i 24x.

The firmware is iXtreme v1. 51-12x. the bin file name is Lite_CFW.bin

I also need to know if there is a program I need to use before I add the ISO to Imageburn. I've downloaded SSMerger 1.7 but I can't seem to figure out how to use it yet.

Here's my confusion....I have one game that has just an ISO file. I have another game that has 40 separate RAR files. How do I burn that mess without some type of converting software?

I have had better results with Falcon than Verbatim

iXtreme 1.51 will only load wave 1 and 2 games you need to get iXtreme LT 1.1

We are not allowed to help with games you downloaded.

Well that makes sense. I can't believe it does....but it does. So I just need to reflash with iXtreme LT 1.1

done....took the 360 apart, downloaded LT 1.1....flashed it...put the 360 back together...

we shall see if that helped. I cannot fathom how fast I just did all that. 5 days ago I didn't even own a torx driver. This is by far the best forum for xbox lovers.

Now, I have the confidence to fix my other 360 with the RROD instead of paying to have it done. Not this week though.....this has been trying enough!!!

ok now that u have lt 1.1 if m$ comes out with a security update it was said to flash back to its original firmware then update then flash back to lt 1.1

i just join this site after reading plz help a 40 year old i'm over 40 to.
and by read wht braveheart n mr pete explain and how clear they was in help me to learn to do mines .

mate try the jungleflasher tutorial - honestly it does cover pretty much everything!

storm61. the jungleflasher tutorial does have it all in there. I just really started with zero understanding of the terminology. Now that these guys have helped me through it, it makes pretty good sense. I'll help anyway I can when you get ready. This thread ought to help several technically challenged "old" folks along the way!
