XLCD reports BIOS <unknown>

X3 and LCD all running fine on 1959 bios but on the XLCD screen it reports :
X3 Config Live v1959
Dip Bank Sel.: 5-8
Bios: <unknown>

same goes if i look in the banks from the x3 live they all show as <unknown>

am i missing something here?
