Hello All, I just have to say that Team Xecuter is the man when it comes to feature support and reliability.

I have a few quick question though, since the new XLCD and the frontside panel rebuild will have two front side usb ports, does that mean I can connect a USB keyboard and mouse and use it with Halo or any other game for that matter? If it does work, what is the possiblity of remapping the control keys for the game, possible or not?

Can i connect any other type of usb peripheral and it will auto-magically work?

BenQ LT spoofed as Samsung MS-28

Hello. I have flashed a BenQ drive with the BenQ LT firmware spoofed as a Samsung ms28. Would this be okay to use on XBL? I know you won't get banned for just spoofing with original firmware (so if I flashed the BenQ with the original firmware spoofed as an ms28), but since BenQ LT closely resembles the original firmware and should be XBL safe, doing this should be okay. Give me some feedback.
Thanks.

Spoofing (aka changing what the drive reports as) has never been safe - this is still the case!

Thanks braveheart43!
I can most likely do the JTAG hack on the console (since it has a pre 8xxx kernel and was manufactured in 2006) but I only play CoD on XBL so it would be useless for me.
Looks like I'll have to wait for Samsung LT and keep the drive firmware stock until then.

Just wondering how are you playing on live with a old kernel? I mean doesn't live make you update? I mean then technically with logic you cannot jtag it.

I didn't say I play XBL on that console. It's just an old console that had RRoD that was never modded or banned and I decided to fix it up and saw that it has the old kernel on it. Didn't go on XBL with it yet - but I will be.
