XLCD without dremmel tool?

Hi, i installed a clear xbox case but i am afriad that the case will crack if i drill into it, has anyone attempted or complete an installation of the XLCD without drilling into the box case or with some minor drilling?

Minor drilling? you have to use something to carve the opening for the lcd to fit. I think most people here used dremels for the control. if you know somebody that cuts plastic professionally then you can get some tips from them. i just used my dremel and took my time. Just understand that the dremel needs to be set to a speed where the plastic doesn't heat up too quickly and measure and mark your cuts. as long as you take your time and only cut what you need to make it fit you will be fine. i have one of those cheap $30 crystal cases you get off ebay so if I messed up i could buy another one but if you have an original xbox case you want to be a bit more careful. There are some install pics on here you can check out before you start cutting. Just don't be afraid of your dremel and you should be fine.

thats the exact sae cas ei have, was it easy to drill, i am afraid it will crack is all.

it was very easy to cut. just make sure you don't turn your rpms too high or the plastic will melt and stick back on itself. it won't crack from cutting it would only crack if it was flexed since its really cheap. since there is no flexing involved during the cut you will be fine.
