RGH XLink Kai Setup - Help Needed

I've been trying to get Xlink Kai set up and I'm not having much luck at all.

I have my Xbox 360 connected to my D-Link DIR-615 router and my PC is connected to the router too. I've followed just about every tutorial I can find which has involved port forwarding etc etc and I've followed these to the letter but still FSD says "Xlink Engine not found on network". I'm at the point of smashing my head through my living room wall :crazy: . Can anybody shed any light on exactly how I should be configuring Xlink and my router to solve this problem?

I had alot of problems with my router ect. In the end i enabled UpNp and removed the port 3000. I also changed my mac addresse and my console then was found. you need to have xlink kai running on your pc before trying to connect with the xbox.
both need to be going at the same time
