ok guys heres a good question i have an X3 chip and got 2 200 gig hdd i put one in and waited to get the extender for christmas now i have the original hdd back in when i disable the chip to boot the hard drive i get an error 13 which means Dashboard launch fail (due to missing/bad key, or anything else that would prevent it from running) and the dashboard didn't specify why it failed.

so im woundering i had unlocked the hdd and then relocked so im woundering if mabe that cause the error or is it something on the chip ????

the original drive has to be LOCKED, not unlocked...

the xbox will not boot w/o the drive being locked, without the modchip on.

SSv2 Double check

So, I know everything has to be ss2 and I know how to manually patch and have done a few of my games. But just to clarify SSv1 is ok if its under wave 3, also I was gonna play a little Resident Evil 5 and none of the SSv2 files match my SSv1, so which SSv2 do you apply if none match your SSv1 rip? Like when I did Batman AA and Ace combat 6, the SSv1 numbers matched the suggested SSv2 numbers, so patching was a no brainer. I used to hot swap for awhile, but for the past 18 months or more all my rips have been with 0800 dont know if that makes a difference. All my images are from original discs NTSCU. THANKS!
