Xternal Switch Purposes?, Advantages?

Hey folks,

(Posted this on X-S a few days ago with no response)

I was considering removing the external switch from Xecutor 3...but before I did, can anyone tell me all of it's uses.

I see three purposes:

1. You can use it to select the banks to flash
2. You can use it to turn on and off the accidental flash protector
3. There is a Light telling you it is working appropriatly.

But,
1) I can select the banks to flash through the X3 Config Live screens...right?
2) I know if it's working by my flubber colors and if it's booting properly.

So, are there any other uses for the switch or any reason why I shouldn't remove it?

took a while to get hold of textbook, then he had to raise support ticket with the company
