hey guys,
im trying to reflash my ms25 with 5.2c.
now ive lost my orig.bin, super stupid i know! :x
anyway, all the floppies im making with xtreme boot maker dont work. im using textbooks tutorial, like i did before, and all i get upon booting is a dos blinking cursos thing. it wont let me type anything and appears to read from floppy, but isnt actually. it just stays idle for ages!!!! i tried formatting etc, but no joy.
my pc doesnt have a bios setting to boot from usb, so i figured id try the other option, which is to use my c drive (which is actually a raid 2x250gb hd's).
so i burnt the ntfs4dos to cdrw. it takes ages to load on boot and gives me loads of errors, and says something like assuming 63.
eventually, it loads. i type yes and it shows me the cdr as drive as D and my c drive as E.
however, at the bottom, where i put in the dos command it has A:\. i try to enter E:\ by itself and with loads of other combinations, but nothing seems to work!
i thought i needed to enter something like
E:\ cd XBF
but that doesnt work.
can anyone help me with this one please?
in fact, ill give you an offer you cant refuse, anyone that can help me, gets a FREE SMILEY!!!!!!!
how can you say no?!!!!!
thanks guys.
