Yep another thick newbie!!!

Ok here we go... just installed xecuter 2.6 solderless chip etc.. and i know i need to flash a bios..but which one..I know where to get them ...been to irc efnet etc but just dont know which one is compatable or the best one to use!! Plus do i need the team executer bios 3.01 before i then upgrade to one from xbins and then install a evo dashboard over the top.

Please help...be as technical as u like ..im actually in I.T just seemes to be so many ways and answers out there not to sure which one to do!!

If you go to he main page, teamxecuter.com , in the top right corner, it tells you the latest bios thats out

The above is in theory correct, but the latest version is actually 5035.

The chip comes with flashbios 3.01, but all it allows you to do is flash a new bios.

since you didn't specify which solderless adapter you used
its important to use the correct version of the bios according to your box
you can check out your box version over at xbox-scene if you already don't know

X2 5035 bios version are as follows:
vOld 1.0-1.5
v16plus 1.6/1.6b
