ok i'm pulling my fing hair out at this jasper i am trying my first glitch on. followed this tut to the letter and when i try to boot xell nothing just centre rol light flashing no green light at all on the coolrunner just red is lit. wtf. i know i am going to be asked for photo's but this is not possible so just trust me the soldering is spot on and has checked out with a multimeter. i've moved the wiring to every possible location away from the ccoils installed the cap and same every time. tried building everything with jtag tool, pestpigs and multi builder all the same result. searching for info on this is a fing nightmare too so do not suggest i search, i did, a LOT. any ideas welcome.

Ok Ive had this issue twice now, what happened both time is point A was not connected good enough even tho it looked like it was great. Get just enough solder on the tip to bring point A out a little more so it has a little access of solder. It should look pointy almost. Try that... or don't if you think it looks good enuf. Just telling you what i did to fix it.

Every jasper i've done is VERY finicky when it comes to wire routing. That has been the problem every time for me. With coolrunner installed and a stock nand flashed does it boot to dashboard?

yes mate i installed everything first then booted the console to make sure there were no shorts. i've also been on stock nand 2 more times inbetween shifting stuff around just to check and it still boots. just never when the ecc is written. i'm really sure of my soldering but i know this is 99% user error when this stuff happens so i dunno. doubting everything about it so i need a fresh start on this. had to pop out so willl tear it all out in a sec and start over.

ok so i didn't rebuild the trace as i could see solder left on the point so thought it couldn't be broken/removed. soldered the wire back in place and bam xell cpu the works after about 30 seconds. had to come tell you all before i write my freeboot. dont waste your time here. USER ERROR ALERT ! but i think even i knew that from the start lol.
thanks guys. yes i am a div. i was definatly getting continuity there though which threw me. feel free to throw your eggs at my face :D
