Doing a Zephyr now. Install went fine, read nand fine. Trying to boot to Xell now and it is not having it (going on 30 minutes). CR is blinking trying to glitch but the console just seems to not want to glitch.

My question is, what's the longest someone has gone while trying to glitch to Xell? Also, I assume if glitching to Xell takes forever, glitching to a hacked dash would take just as long (is this right?). All of the consoles I've worked on before this have glitched first time almost all the time.

It's a Zephyr and it's already known that those boards can be stubborn as hell, some just won't glitch at all.

All you can really do is try re-routing the wires and/or even add a cap (or bridge the pads if it is a Rev B CoolRunner).

Ugh, got it to boot twice to xell in about an hour, kind of pointless. At least I got the key. Is it expected that RGH 2.0 will increase boot times for Zephyrs?

Maybe it will, did you try the new shielded cable solution?
I was going to order some but XConsoles is out of stock. I'm going to try and search around for something similar when I get off work. However, from what I've read that only marginally helps boot times, seems like I need a total freeking overhaul.

At this moment in time, you have everything to gain and nothing to lose... it can't hurt to give it a shot can it?
Correct, like I said I'll give it a shot.

I had a nother thought, will Fusion eliminate the RGH boot times altogether since it's a complete custom kernel (once you have your cpu key etc.)? This would breath new life into these pain the A Xenons and Zephyrs.

Maybe Uber will read this and can chime in.

Fusion is a kernel, it's the way the hack operates that causes these issues as well as the wiring configuration(s) used.

I ordered some of that shielded cable from XConsoles. I'll give that a shot and let everyone know if it does the trick.
