Hi all again.... I still would class myself as a noob, but have completed 2 Proto v2 installs without any help!!!

i would like to do a demon & Proto install, soldering to the retail nand looks to be the trickiest part but feel confident enough now with my soldering to do it.....

I think I'm correct in saying that I read the nand using the Demon and then I install the Proto v2, would someone confirm this please?

Or am I just setting myself up for trouble with a demon install? I value all your input, if you think it's not a good idea then please just say so!!!

The only reason I want to do this is that I've just bought and repaired a very cheap 250gb slim Trinity with a DVD fault, it had never been opened so ok for "live" and I just want try to do another type of mod......

You can install both devices at the same time.

Once you have read the XBOX 360 NAND twice to get a valid dump, write it to the DemoN and make sure the console boots.

If it does, you can continue with the RGH install (create and write XeLL, grab the CPU key and then build and write a glitch image to the DemoN).

Thanks BL4K3Y & Gavin for your reply....

I am correct in saying that the Demon will read the retail nand for me?
