Coolrunner shows it's sending the glitch signal (green light comes on and off), so I really can't explain why it's not working. Used 360 multibuilder to build the ecc, but it won't boot. Stock image loads fine. Any ideas?

I pulled away as much of the glue as I could to show a good picture, but it isn't that great for the HANA picture.

I have done a few before, and all have worked fine. This is my first zephyr. I glued all the points down, but none of the joints are touching anything other than the correct point.

first I would never put hot glue on your connection point, it's hard to check and see and if you ever have to remove it there is a good chance you will rip the trace off the board, put the glue back a couple of inches. Also way too much flux, looks like a river on the 3.3v. the B point looks bad from pic, not sure what's going on there.

Also, make sure the wires under the board dont go between the coils. Here (Link) is how it should be done now.

I moved them out of the way, they were before. Just re-did all of my wires. Spoke to tydye and he said to try a 1nf cap first, and then a 50nf if that doesn't work.

That's what I'm going to do next. I used 30 gauge wire for both pll_bypass, and stby_clk (used the alternate point for stby).

Was that the same wire that came with your CoolRunner?
No. I used my own 30 gauge kynar wire. It's single strand, so a better connection would be made. Unfortunately for me, I just did a Jasper 256 without any issues, so this zephyr is just really stubborn.

According to others, Zephyrs seem to be a problem. Im sure you already did this but after you write to your nand, you wait at least 30 seconds before plugging the cord in so that the SMC clears from memory correct?

Yes. I've done almost everything I possibly could. I'm going to try Falcon images, hoping that it could be as stupid as the 4580 Zephyr CB requiring and 5570 Falcon CB for the SMC exploit. Maybe I will stumble upon something. If that fails tonight, I'll just wait till Friday to get the capacitor.

After adding 67nf of capacitance (.047uf + .01uf + .01uf, there was no .068uf cap at radioshack :/), it still refuses to boot into xeLL. green light on the coolrunner is still blinks in intervals, but nothing has worked. I'm using 30 gauge wire for pll_bypass and stby_clk, everything else is the stock wiring. The console has a 12v fan mod, could that possibly be interfering with the glitch?

I got it to boot 2 times using weird configurations, but none ever worked after the first time. I'm going to try another Zephyr and see what happens.

Thanks for all the help guys. I'm giving up on it and sending it back to the owner. I got it to boot a total of 4 times, in maybe 500 attempts. I tried every kind of wiring configuration possible, alternate points, etc, and it just doesn't have any consistency. I appreciate all the help and advice, and maybe in the future something new will be discovered about these bugged Zephyrs.

The weird thing is my Zephyr is glitching fine and my alternate wire for B is going right through those coils points. Weird why some people you need the wire away from them
