Ok so the story is: I bought a rrod jtag zephyr a couple years ago, I reflowed it and it worked, at the time I never had a nand-x, I'd read it could be updated(the dash) by usb stick, and I did it and it worked, last year I got my new Achi and put a new gpu on, it worked fine and I put the console on the shelf, so a few days ago I decide to update the dash, not thinking I found the consoles folder on my pc, put the nanddump in multi-builder 7, made a new 14699 dash, put this on a usb stick with xenon elf, updated with xell, when I booted I got E79.
Now thinking back I did have a problem updating the dash, and looking in the consoles folder there's a couple nand.bins, a clean nand, a nanddump and a freeboot, I think I had to make one from the clean nand, strange thing is the nand.bins have a different console serial, so I don't know what's happened.
So I've tried every combination I can, using the dumps I've got, and I get different results:
E79, from power switch and eject
E79 from power, xell from eject
E74 from power, xell from eject
rrod 0022
At the moment I've just put xell on with jtag tool and it boots from the eject button to xell.
Last time I did it (few months back), I put the diodes under the board connected with the aud_clamp and dvd_tray, and it was working with this fine.
So can I do anything to get it back, I'm pretty hopeless with software, I checked it in 360flashtool, but don't know what I'm doing really, I seen the nands had different serials and dates, strange thing was the nand.bin had an a june 2008 date, and still said it was a zephyr, with a lite-on drive.
