recived my qsb's today!
so i desoldered the transitors and so on and soldered the qsb in with AUD_CLAMP and DB1F1 wrote original nand just to test and booted fine, so i wrote xellous gave e79 tried resistor level 0, 330, 470 and guess what! e79....

i simply can't get it working! is it possible the fuse is blown!? and how do i check! cause i have not removed the R6T3 resistor! wanted to make sure everything was working before i had a go at it!

was just about to try to write xell when i got this!

"NandPro v2.0b by Tiros

Looking for usb interface device
Incompatible ARM hardware for this version of NandPro!
Can not continue
Trykk en tast for å fortsette..."

i have only tried flashing xellous with "AUD_CLAMP only" but will try xell if i het the nand-x working!

update: got it to flash, just disconnected the nand-x and retried! will try booting xell(hdmi) now!

tried xell and freeboot 12625, made sure to have the correct smc config both times but still e79!

the only thing i can think of now is the e fuse!

and i am wondering what is the best setting for the resitor on the qsb? 0, 330 or 470?

My e79 came from my bad solder points... fyi
i'm pretty confident in the soldering..

i checked the R6T3 and it was bridged so the fuse was acutally protected tho the resistor was not removed clompletely.. i wont desolder it either, not until i get it booting freeBOOT..

anyone know how to check the eFuse? i pretty sure i have read somewhere the error for booting freeboot with blown eFuse is e79..

and again witch setting should i preffer 0, 330 or 470 ohm?

Try a different freeboot version 12625 is known to cause issues in zephyr consoles. I have received e79 on 12625 with a zephyr

Also since the points are bridged for efuse protection this also can cause e79 in zephyr falcon and Jasper consoles remove the solder so points aren't bridged and remove the resistor do this after jtagging the console freeboot will not blow efuses only official updates.

Efuse protection is used to guard against accidental updates via game disc.
Always wait until your finished jtagging to protect efuses.

yes thats what i thought so i tried it right away not a chance! but i'm sure i have found the issue now.. desoldered DB1F1 and i think the point is messed up!

resolderd to ft1u2 confirmed good connection! will try booting i a couple off minutes, wish me luck!

it was the DB1F1 !! booted xellous straight away! i must have messed the point up when i desolderd the original jtag back when m azeem k told me to try the alt. points cause it has always looked the same to me:rolleyes2:
