Hey guys i have a Zephyr that i have been trying to JTAG and it was on dash 5766 and i tryed to JTAG it and it boots fine on stock image but when i wrote xell i got RROD one ring on the bottom right. then i read about it had to be updated to 7371 so i updated and tryed again the jtag wiring and i still got the 1 rrod it boots stock perfectly so i have no clue what is worng and it is making me angry so any help would be appreciated i used kynar wire for the jumper then i used the smitching diode to the bottom left corner point the soldering is good i have intermediate experience and i have soldered and desoldered multiple times and i have the wire that goes to the rol on the alternate side on the bottom with the diode soldered to more kynar and that about sums up my install i dont think pictures are needed because jtag is a simple install and my soldering is good also forgot to mention i dont have a split cb the cb is 4558

also could anyone post HDMI jtag tutorials that are good i will try that wiring because im desperate lol

now i have forgotten to read the nand on the 7371 dump so i now have tried to write back the 5766 nand retail and i f**ked up i think and now the console wont boot so if someone can recreate the retail nand also that would e amazing

In order to help you, you are going to have to follow the RGH/JTAG support template.

You will have to get the CPU key before you can fix your xbox since you wrote over your 7371 NAND.

You can't go back to your original 5776 update if you updated to 7371 already. (Correct me if i'm wrong.)

Make a 7371 retail image as that's what the console is on now.

I suggest the blackaddr transistor wiring for Zephyr JTAG.

Like Alexander said, u need your cpu key to build a new NAND of any sort. Also u got 1 red light but didn't provide the secondary error code. Please fill in the template.

Yes, you can get your CPU key.

I think it would be best if you just sent it off for repair.

This is incorrect. 7371 and 5776 use hte same CB.

The only issue is the LDV.

I'm not questioning anybody's knowledge but there is no need to send it to a professional i have made many consoles successfully and have made a JTAG before i'm more on the RGH side though i just need someone to help me create a correct nand or get my CPUKey i just made one accidental mistake it happens sometimes so can someone either help me make a nand or teach me or explain what i need to do.

Write Xell, get your CPU key. It is as simple as that.

I cant boot though because on dash 7371 i tryed to write back my 5766 nand
Did you follow the instructions given to you?

Write a Zephyr JTAG XeLL image to the console and make sure you have JTAG wiring installed.

Don't forget to use the correct XeLL image for your console (AUD_CLAMP wiring is recommended for all HDMI motherboards).

SMH i am willing to follow instructions i guess were not understanding each other i am not sending this off to someone if it is so simple. you keep telling me to hok up wires but how is that gonna fix rrod from a bad nand either im not understanding you or your not understanding me.

so your telling me in the state its in right now after i try'd to write back the retail nand and it gets rrod i can just hook the wiring back up and write xell and im good.
