SMH i am willing to follow instructions i guess were not understanding each other i am not sending this off to someone if it is so simple. you keep telling me to hok up wires but how is that gonna fix rrod from a bad nand either im not understanding you or your not understanding me.

so your telling me in the state its in right now after i try'd to write back the retail nand and it gets rrod i can just hook the wiring back up and write xell and im good.
The real problem is here that you have no idea what you are doing.

One of two things can happen.

1. you can follow my instructions blindly and it will work
2. you can read up on the JTAG hack, how xell works, and LDVs and then find out that i'm correct

Either way, it is hilarious that you are here arguing when you have no idea what you are talking about. You have two very experienced people telling you exactly what to do, and are refusing to do it.

Okay i'm willing to try it. All i have to do is just do the aud clamp wiring write xell and it should work correct? also could you link me to a aud clamp install as my previously made JTAG was not aud clamp so i have never done it before.

Have u checked the value of tms/tdi against ground? They should be 1.5kohms, if they are not, then the Gpu probably needs reflowed/reballed. These aren't used by stock nand, so it will boot retail. If they aren't 1.5k your could always use rgh1 to get CPU key(I think, havnt tried it on a jtaggable dash, but is worth a try to at least get CPU key.) rgh1 wasn't patched out until 14717, but was found after jtag was patched out.

Please also provide pics of install and secondary error codes. It's no use saying RROD as there are about 80 different codes. U could be getting codes like 0102 (GPU fault) in which case this is all a bit pointless.

Xell is contained in the first 50 blocks of NAND and contains universal boot loaders so u can boot xell even if u fudge up your NAND, all information is in the stickies on this site and on free60.org. Maybe have a break, read up and come back with a fresh head.
