Ok so I have installed the cr4 xl into this zephyr unit. this is my buddies unit and he had a falcon but for some reason that unit rrod on us. Anyways I can read and write to the nand properly and verify that it has been read but for the life of me I can't get xell to load. I have the aud clamp in place with the diode. The db1f1 with diode in place and the system will boot in stock nand when the power wire is off of the cr4 of course but when I try to boot xell it just tries and tries as the green light is lighting up on the cr4 but it won't glitch. I have tried to use the rater on jrunner but it won't even power up the unit. I have a nand-x programmer and the update cord for it but haven't been able to get rater to work. I have the update cable hooked into the top qsb but I do not have the alt-jtag web on the bottom. Is this something that is needed? I have it old school with the jtag with diodes. I'm not at my desk right now otherwise I would have pics. Cb version is 4569 if I recall. I have updated it to the latest revision and when checking the xell write I have the aud clamp checked and rjtag selected. I even tried to use the falcon cb but to no avail. It dosent red ring either and I can program the stock nand back in it to make it work.

I did a zephyr with cr4 xl I to used the diode method couldn't get it to glitch , order the qsb that install on the bottom and booting right away to xell and then I wrote glitch image n boot dash so for me to get mine working I used the qsb ( then hours later red ring which when I get ready to get im sending it out to get reballed ):cool2: u need to filloout template and post pics of logs I didn't see u say anything about bad blocks because with just using cr4 jrunner remaps it ( also for the glitch image to work I used falcon cb )

For rater to power on the system u have to hook up k to the motherboard, also did you try every dip, one of them will glitch the system. if you get E74, or 1 light rrod, then worry about the jtag wiring, as that happens after the system glitches.

Some Zephyrs, mostly with Taiwan CPU (as well as Xenons) can't work with PLL slowdown, they fail on speedup. (I have this one)
You have to use RGH2, or regular R-JTAG, those hacks use i2c slowdown. (My Zephyr works reeeally well with RGH2 on DGX/RGX chip)
Sadly, CR4 XL has no RGH2 support for Zephyr. So try to find R-JTAG 1.1 chip.
