Xecuter DemoN Pre-Orders Now Being Accepted

We have authorized that the Xecuter DemoN be place don Pre-Order status with all official resellers. The first run will be limited so make sure you get your orders in quick. The Big Block version will be available on the next run due to the fact that we anticipate that it will be a very small batch due to the rarity of the model.

Here are the official specs. Installation guides & Instructions will follow shortly.

Xecuter DemoN is the most advanced Xbox 360 NAND device ever created.

Giving you the ability to have dual NAND's is nothing new to the scene thanks to Team Cygnos and their dual NAND tool for older generation Phat JTAG models. However since the advent of the Reset Glitch Hack (RGH) scene, there has been a resurgence of homebrew activity on all the newer models of Xbox 360, and therefore there is not only a need for multiple NAND's, but also a variety of developer functions are now required so you can run your own custom kernels and linux apps on all the latest models including the new Xbox 360 S (or Slim as its known).

Picking up where Cygnos left off, Xecuter has taken the Dual NAND design and basically fixed every known bug and flaw that existed with the Cygnos, improved features, increased r/w speeds, redesigned the layout and install methods, added new developer functions and basically taken the dual NAND concept to the a whole new level.

Not only does the DemoN give the most stable dual NAND solution available, but it also has many dedicated development features that contribute to many different homebrew projects such as libxenon, dashlaunch, freestyledash, freeboot and many more. There are a massive 16 dedicated I/O's available for a multitude of features and add-ons and also an custom coded DLL library so that any developer can interface completely with the DemoN – you will see some really great things in the future

The built in NAND R/W hardware is a stand out feature. Completely bypassing the need for any external device such as the Xecuter NAND-X or any other SPI tool, the DemoN has a USB port which offers a completely pass-thru solution giving you direct access to the Demon & Onboard NAND's – and with the turbo mode, giving you NAND r/w speed that have never been seen before !

Xecuter hasn't forgotten JTAG fans either, There are thousands upon thousands of users out there who run a perfectly functioning JTAG machine – many of them using the Xecuter JTAG QSB Install Kits that have become so popular over the last couple of years. Not only does the DemoN support all of the latest RGH devices such as the Xecuter CoolRunner – but they have also designed the DemoN to make sure that it doesn't affect any current JTAG installs – which is perfect for those who have the QSB kits installed and working perfectly – fitting the Demon does not require that they have to remove their functioning JTAG feature. Xecuter thinks of the customer experience first and foremost !

As always with Team Xecuter you can trust that they make the absolute best quality devices paying attention to the tiniest details and making sure that the end user is completely confident in a premium product backed by their famous warranty,

Xecuter Xbox Repair Kit – Extreme Edition

After selling over 150,000 units of the Repair Kit Pro II, Xecuter has become the world's most popular Xbox repair kit manufacturer. Now after further research and enhanced techniques in Xbox repair and recovery, Xecuter have designed their new flagship product that has been proven to cure most faulty Xbox's without the need for expensive reballing. This is the third version of Xecuter's amazingly popular Xbox 360 RROD (Red Ring Of Death) Repair Kit – the XECUTER XBOX REPAIR KIT – EXTREME EDITION.

Every publicly known repair solution, concept, technique and idea has been broken down and analyzed to produce the best performing and highest quality Xbox repair kit ever made. No off the shelf parts, no chunky screws or generic parts from a hardware store, no messy sanding or drilling or cutting. Everything has been custom made to exact specifications to give you a kit that has been fine tuned to fit all versions of the Xbox 360 (Xenon, Zephyr, Opus, Falcon & Jasper).

The new EXTREME EDITION includes a massive 93 Piece Kit that introduces a brand new designed replacement for the poorly designed XCLAMP called the BOXX-CLAMP, which has been crafted to fit all Xbox motherboards perfectly without having to use messy sandpaper to level off areas to make it sit perfectly flat against the motherboard to stop it from warping when the temperature of the Xbox rises. Specially designed X-BOLTS have been manufactured to make the installation of the BOXX-CLAMP a piece of cake. No fiddling around with tape or other messy methods that you get with other kits that use basic generic screws, the X-BOLTS simply fix themselves into position whilst you simply connect the motherboard to the BOXX-CLAMP and the heatsinks with no mess and no fuss. Once installed you will have a perfectly flat motherboard installation that protects against any warping and any cracking of solder joints that causes those infamous RROD (Red Ring Of Death) errors.

Every area of failure has been identified and the XECUTER XBOX REPAIR KIT – EXTREME EDITION includes parts to not only resolve the problem but also protect against future failures. Specific areas of note that are targeted for repair are:

GPU & CPU
This is the most notorious area of failure on the Xbox 360 due to poor case design and the infamous X-Clamps. Our goal was to find a solution that not only fixed this problem, but helped to prevent it from happening in the future.

The BOXX-CLAMP fix addresses many design flaws that continue to plague the Xbox 360 with the notorious RROD (Red Rings of Death). To achieve a secure solution we need the motherboard to rest on a perfectly flat surface, which used to be impossible without modifying the case by sanding down the standoffs. Another goal was to make sure that even pressure could be applied to the CPU and GPU from both above and below the motherboard. By using the precision engineered BOXX-CLAMP & X-BOLTS, not only are we able to have the motherboard sit on a perfectly flat surface without any sanding or drilling, but we are also able to apply even pressure above and below the CPU/GPU by using super-cool thermal pressure pads below the motherboard. To equalize pressure between the GPU/CPU heatsinks and motherboard we use high quality custom made Polyethylene foam shims which not only maintain even distribution of pressure to prevent cracking of the GPU or CPU, but provide high shock absorption and are impervious to any kind of shrinkage, mildew, mold, rot, and bacteria. These are easily fitted using self adhesive backing tape and are applied before the heatsinks are attached using the X-BOLTS. This solution not only stabilizes and reinforces the motherboard to finally stop any warping from occurring, but it also helps your system run much cooler as the whole metal chassis now acts like a giant heatsink!

4 Ram Chips (Bottom Side of Motherboard)

The pliable foam heatsinks that are fitted to the Xbox 360's 4 Ram Chips have proven to be completely useless. Not only do they not provide the correct thermal protection, but due to the notorious warping of the motherboard when it overheats, the solder joints are prone to cracking and due to the lead-free solder they stay cracked once the Xbox cools down. Xecuter have used a version of pad called Thermal K-Pad which transfers heat much more efficiently and is made of a much stronger material that is 25% thicker than the standard thermal pads. By being a thick and stronger material, the K-Pad keeps the Ram Chip firmly held in place forcing an even pressure between the Xbox case and the Ram chip itself, so when the solder melts, instead of cracking when it cools it simply maintains a strong bond. This method of Thermal K-Pad has been used in every Xecuter Xbox Repair Kit since 2006 and has proven to work in tens of thousands of cases.

2 RAM Chips (Top Side of Motherboard)
Another area that wasn't addresses with previous repair kits was the Ram Chips that resided underneath the main heatsink on the top side of the motherboard. tests showed that these were also susceptible to failure due to cracking after the motherboard had warped and also the fact that there was little to no heat transfer from the Ram Chip to the Heatsink. A new version of Thermal K-Pad has been designed for these 2 Ram Chips. Strict tests demanded that the material required had to be slightly softer and thinner than the standard Thermal K-Pads in order to achieve optimum efficiency. Simply place on top of the chips before you attach the GPU heatsink.

Southbridge Chip
Another new addition is the Southbridge Clamp that will keep the chip cool and secure. The aluminum plate used is highly conductive to thermal transfer, protecting against any cracking of the solder joints and also reducing stress to one of the most error prone chips on the Xbox motherboard. A secondary heatsink is also provided to give that extra level of protection and prevention.

Over half of all XBOX 360 errors are found to be Southbridge related. The Southbridge controls around 10 devices on your Xbox 360. The most prevalent errors that can be Southbridge related are E71, E73, 0021, as well as E67, E69, E76, and E79 when PSU, hard drive etc is not to blame. May fix secondary codes including but not limited to 1003, 1011, 1030, 1033, 0010, and 0021.

ANA/HANA Scaler Chip

The Xbox 360 uses a specialized chip to adjust the size of the video image on the screen. Overheating can cause this "scaler" chip to unseat itself from the circuit board and cause an "E74" to appear on the screen. A high quality heatsink is provided to protect and prevent from this error from happening.

DVD Drive
Xecuter also provide a replacement DVD Drive Belt which matches the original SBS Square Type specifications. Used to fix the Stuck Tray, Open Tray and Sticky Tray issues due to a stretched or worn out factory belt. Also included are 4 foam buffers for the internal casing of the DVD Drive to protect the disc from any scratches.

Bonus X-Clamp Removal Tool
As a bonus, and in co-operation with the world famous Xbox Repair Experts at www.dports.me, we have designed and manufactured a brand new X-Clamp Removal Tool and included it with the XECUTER XBOX REPAIR KIT – EXTREME EDITION kit free of charge. This tool makes the much complained about hassle of removing the old Xbox X-Clamps a simple and painless process. Simply insert and lift and the X-Clamp comes straight off !

The XECUTER XBOX REPAIR KIT – EXTREME EDITION includes all tools needed to perform the best at-home DIY repair to your Xbox 360 without having to ship it off for an expensive reball. This fix has become the defacto solution in repairing the majority of the RROD (red Ring Of Death) Xbox 360’s.

As this kit fixes most RROD issues we cannot offer any guarantee of 100% success, however this is the most comprehensive kit you will find, anywhere in the world.

########### NOTES ###########
#############################

– The custom boot animation has a small side effect where the console will take a bit longer to boot. The reason for this is that the animation does not start playing at first boot, rather it plays once the console is fully booted. It is being worked on and will be fixed soon.

– Multi-Disk Games
Multi disk games can now be run from the hard drive and still function properly when the game requests to switch disks. In order for Fusion to auto detect and switch to the next disk of a game, the game must be put into a special folder structure. Every disk for the game needs to be ripped to its own folder named disc1, disc2, etc. Each disk folder must be placed inside a folder just for that game.

Here is an example folder hierarchy:

Battlefield 3
Battlefield 3disc1
Battlefield 3disc1…
Battlefield 3disc2
Battlefield 3disc2…

##################################################
########### MAIN ADVANTAGES & FEATURES ###########
##################################################

– Retail Keys added in to allow use of anything that would work on a retail console. This includes hardware and software. Games like rockband require the retail keys to work.
This was a problem in the past and therefore rockband was unable to be "backed up". This also allows the user to use retail and XDK user profiles. Making it convenient instead of having to resign a profile to work with dev or vice versa. Your profiles will also get resigned but its resigned with retail keys.

– System link. Our system link in fusion will allow you to system link between dev and retail with no problems. Ping limit also removed out of the box so no need to run an app to do this.

– DVD Pairing. Tired of manually pairing your drive to the console? all you have to do once fusion is installed is pop the drive in and hit "Pair Drive". You do not even need your dvd key from the keyvault or from the drive to perform this.

– Custom Boot Animations. The current video animation is hard coded at the moment. For future releases the end user will be able to fully customize the stock boot animation.

– Trainer Launcher. An SDK is being built for this. However, its currently ready and in place for use. Once the SDK is ready itll make it easier for users to make their own trainers and game hacks.

– Multi-Disc Game Support. Unlike previous rebooters and other hacked kernels. Our multi-disc support works much better. Once finished with the first disc the console will automatically find the next disc and load it as long as its in the proper file structure.

– Debug XEXs. Our kernel will run both retail and debug xexs. Even if the retail flag is not set in place. For example the leaked Forza 2 dev build on usenet and other developer beta games and apps.

– Arcade Patch. This was previously attempted in rebooters and such like freeboot. However, it was never 100% perfect and didnt work for every game. This patch was redone for full compatibility.

– Easier Access to DVD and CPU key. Tired of having to run xell every time you needed a cpukey? All you have to do now is go into Firmware Settings and you now have easy access to this info.

– HDD Load. RGLoader uses something similar to this by loading the flash files from HDD. However, ours loads 10x faster. This means no lag or choppiness when running anything.

– ISO Install of HDD files. Nuff said. Absolutely no need to install files to hdd manually. Once you install the flash image just run the iso in the console and itll install those files for you. This also means there is no need to go hunting for files.

– Re-purposed Family Settings to "Firmware Settings". Since we hackers most likely do not care much about family settings and restrictions… We went ahead and changed that over to our firmware settings tab. This is the option where you go to get your cpukey and other unique information that Xell or Xellous used to give you. All in all xell and xellous are no longer needed unless you plan to boot linux. Future release of fusion will allow linux booting.

– XGD Auth bypassed. Load retail game discs on a XDK kernel. As well as all AP2.5 checks removed. No need for FCRT.BIN or any extra files for this.

####################################
########### INSTALLATION ###########
####################################

1. Start by running Fusion_Setup_v1.0.7.exe and fill in the required information for your console. SMC Config Blocks can be extracted using the latest J-Runner (smc_config.bin), and imported with Fusion. No other files are required.

Once the required information has been fill out, press Build, save your new flash image, and wait for confirmation it was successfully created.

2. Write the image you just made in step 1 to your console using J-Runner or NandPro or your nand flashing software of choice.

3. Using ImgBurn or your iso writing software of choice, burn the provided bootdisk iso "Fusion_Bootdisk_v1.0.7.iso" to a CD (or DVD). Once the disk has been burned, place it in your console's DVD drive and turn the console off.

4. With your Xbox hard drive connected, the Fusion nand image flashed, and the boot disk in your console's DVD drive, power on your console. Within a few seconds you should see the boot disk install screen appear. The boot disk will take a few moments to copy the required OS files and when it is done your console will reboot. When your console reboots it will boot to either the dashboard or the dev-launcher depending on the settings you specified when creating the nand image.

Your console is now running Fusion v1.0.7 Beta, enjoy!

New Guides & New IRC Support Channel

We figured we'd give you guys a heads up on what's going down at the moment.

We are working on restructuring the entire support forums with new, easy to navigate section and all new up to date guides & tutorials for both RGH & Firmware.

We are doing everything from scratch so bear with us, but this will definitely make things around here much cleaner and a more user friendly experience, so stay tuned !

In the meantime we have opened up a new IRC support channel on EFNET for RGH

Channel staff include members of the development teams of Xecuter, RGH2, J-Runner, FSD, Freeboot, Libxenon & other noted homebrew professionals.

So join #RGH if you require assistance (please note this is not a channel for the lazy and those who have done no reading or background. We expect you to read first before asking questions). It is also an English speaking channel only and we ask that you do not PM ops.

Thank you

Xecuter Demon Slim – First batch rolls off the production line

After several months of development we have finally completed work on the base DemoN module. The first to roll off the production line is the Slim version, the Phat version will roll off on Monday.

Forget any other cheap dual nand device you see on the market, the DemoN blows them all out of the water. Some teams brag about NAND R/W speeds of  just over a minute…..try 20 seconds 😉

Our team of developers and beta testers include high ranking members of the 360 Linux scene to make sure that this is the defacto Dual Nand device for every 360 user from beginner to advanced.

These are being sent to our crew of beta testers who will put every fix, tweak, enhancement and new feature through it's final paces. We have so much planned for the DemoN in the future, the base unit is just the beginning, wait until you see all of the addons and software tools we have coming – we've worked REALLY hard to make this as solid and as future proof as possible, it really is a clean well crafted product and we are very proud of it, it's been an awesome team effort to get this done right – much more to come !

Final features, prices & specifications will be announced very soon.
