The whole team at Xecuter have been busy, busy bees during the Spring months. So busy in fact that we have a whole new product range developed and ready for launch over the coming weeks – all codenamed "Project CK3i".

New Liteon Drive Version – DG-16D4S 1071

There is already a new version firmware in the wild wild, and naturally we are already in the process of testing, decapping and making sure it works with the new DG-16D4S Unlocked PCB.

I will say though that key extraction successful and key sector decryption is reversed and confirmed already – Team Jungle does it again

Also the 0225 firmware is finished and the 0401 firmware is in the last stages of development. Not long now.

Xecuter DG-16D4S – Unlocked Replacement PCB – Update !

Now that production is fully underway of the newly designed DG-16D4S PCB we have not only been able to reduce our production costs due to a larger than expected volume of wholesale orders, but we have also closed a deal to source a great amount of very difficult to find parts at a greatly reduced priced.

Our policy is always to be as competitive as possible, and these new savings will be reflected in the RRP and in the wholesale prices.

We should reiterate that this is not a simple copy of the DG-16D4S board, but a custom made version with a new chipset (and not just a single IC change), and it will be completely solderless – the install will simply be a cut and clip design.

Also note that if you are using a 9504 drive (if you are lucky enough to find a non-fake version) that the drive's MT controller can be locked at ANY time via cdb commands. This is non reversible and is not a scare tactic, it is a fact. The custom DG-16D4S PCB has a manual write protect enable / disable switch so YOU are in control. You simply disable WP, Flash the drive, Enable WP and you are done.

We have tested the board on 9504, 0225 and 0401 consoles and they are working perfectly – all on Live with no problems whatsoever.

So, the first custom designed Liteon DG-16D4S Unlocked Replacement PCB now has an RRP of just $59.95.

The Pro Installers Kit which is the main IC and also the add-on circuit for write protect enable / disable etc is still available for an RRP of $19.99 and we are told by most major modders that they will be looking to charge around $30-$40 to install this for you if you can't do it yourself.

Team Xecuter Liteon DG-16D4S 0225/0401 Write Solutions

Team Xecuter released more information about the solutions to flash Liteon DG-16D4S 0225/0401 drives. One is no-solder (a PCB replacement), the other is only for professional installers and requires very good soldering skills.

* Liteon DG-16D4S – Unlocked Replacement PCB ($75)

Do you have a faulty Liteon DG-16D4S DVD in your Xbox 360 ? Are you swapping your drive to another console and are unable to program your firmware due to write protection being enabled ?

Team Xecuter have done it again with these replacement PCB's. Fits all DG-16D4S drive versions and allows you to reprogram your firmware to the board and then to set it to write protect to secure against any accidental firmware corruption / erasing.

The Liteon DG-16D4S 0225/0401 models are hardware locked so it is impossible to flash them. We are able to offer a kit so that you can replace the main controller IC with this alternative MT1335 version which has the write protect disabled. There are also parts included to enable / disable the write protect manually so as soon as you install your firmware you can lock the drive down so it can't be upgraded by anyone else but you.

Please note this is for professional installers only. Do not buy this or attempt to install it if you are not highly skilled. You will have to remove the old chip and this includes removing all of the resin around the MT1335 chip and then desoldering the chip, and then soldering the new IC with the write protect enable / disable connections also.

X360USB PRO Shipping To Resellers Begins

We missed our target shipping date by just 3 days, but we got there eventually

The first batch of X360USB PRO is in the process of being quality tested and packed and is expected to leave our factory in China (+8 GMT) on Thursday March 10th.

We have paid for the fastest shipping service possible, but even so, several hundred kilos will take more than just a day or two

Our main resellers have given us an order so they each get a quantity of the no-case "early adopter" version, and then of course they will get the rest of their orders which will include the complete unit including case. We expect those to start leaving the factory on March 25th (This is a conservative estimated date. It could be a few days before or after). Please bear in mind that not all resellers have put early orders in, so some of them probably won't have stock at the same time as others. That is through no fault of our own and we can only cater to those who made their orders well in advance. We suggest you check with your preferred reseller to make sure they have placed their orders in time.

Resellers have also asked us to remind you that they will be shipping to their customers on an date-ordered basis. So as always with a pre-order type product it is first come, first served. So those who were lucky enough to order from day one will be first on the list.
Bear in mind that there are tens of thousands of IC's to program and we have strict quality assurance procedures in place where each and every unit is run through a serious of tests individually to make sure you receive the best quality product.

CK3 Probe 3 Images & Info

As promised here is the professional version of the CK3 Probe 3. Speaks for itself. The easiest, safest, most flexible "PMT" no-cut/no-solder probe for Liteon drives.

No capacitors, no discharging, no power clips, enhanced extraction code built into X360USB and Jungle Flasher to give instant key extraction with no need for prolonged probing of the PCB or timing your power cycles or any other waiting around or messing about.

Also tested working with the Samsung Bad Flash Recovery Method (mostly not required with X360USB Pro as it will recover 99% of Samsung recovery / Bad Flash situations – but its a working backup all the same)

We have also designed the CK3 Power Cable so that it can be used to convert any CK3 probe (v1 / v2 / v2.1 / Mini probe) to a fully functional PMT capable probe. Naturally the cable is a lot cheap than buying a Probe 3 so YOU save money !

It's this simple (Connect using X360USB PRO & Jungle Flasher of course):

1. Press the PhatKey button, then click Yes
2. Hold Probe 3 Button down (LED OFF), connect probe to MPX01, release Probe 3 Button (LED ON)
3. Extract Complete will be instantaneous when using X360USB PRO, now remove probe from MPx01
4. Press and release the Probe 3 button again then click OK
5. Done!
