We have begun shipping the Xecuter xDrive. There was a slight delay as we changed the design design of the case to add more airflow and also added an extra fan to the internal design. You can see that its a simple install and no doubt will be very useful to a great deal of modders.

Major Nelson posted a tweet about the dashboard update (with facebook, last.fm etc support) that will be released Tuesday:

I have to correct myself: When we turn on the new features tomorrow they'll just appear! No need for a system update.

So did MS already include all the features in that small WPA2-fix (8955) they released a few weeks ago and do they just have to activate the new features somehow (via LIVE?) or do they have another trick up their sleeves?

Xamp released a patched version of Xplorer360 to work with 250GB harddrives.

From the readme:

The Good:
Drag and drop content to and from (inject/extract) confirmed working on both Partitions 2 and 3.

The Bad:
Do not use any sort of backup or restore image features with this patched version.
Do not use this version with 20, 60, or 120 gig drives.

The Details:
Changed the cluster chain length value to 00 08 39 at offset 0xF0C2.

If you have a NEWER Liteon 83850C V2 (August 2009+) or 93450C then you will need an Xecuter CK3 Probe v2 or the Xecuter LT Switch to read the drive key. (The pre August 2009 Liteon 83850C DVD key can be extracted using SATA – a Serial / USB Connection is NOT required.
